Our Approach

Responsive Design: We carefully listen to our clients' unique challenges and requirements and respond by designing
buildings and spaces that provide for their needs in a creative yet comprehensive solution.

Speed and Flexibility: Brook Architecture as an organization is structured to be flat, integrated, and dynamic, allowing
us to quickly adapt and react to the changing needs and multiple facets of our projects.

Quality: Our work goes through a rigorous quality assurance/quality control program; we demand that our work is accurate, complete, and on schedule.

Unique Capabilities

High Performance Buildings: Brook Architecture excells in creating efficient buildings that exceed code and energy
performance standards throughout the lifecycle of the building.

Complex Project Management Experience: Working with entities such as the Capital Development Board of Illinois,
Public Building Commission of Chicago, Chicago Public Schools, and the Chicago Park District, has honed Brook
Architecture's ability to navigate and find cooperative solutions to the often complex issues surrounding the design and construction process.

Building Information Modeling (BIM): Brook Architecture's staff is trained in BIM technology. Using BIM, we develop design solutions, test their efficacy, and create a collaborative, integrated building design process for our team members and clients. Capitalizing on BIM's ability to capture and analyze design concepts, we make critical decisions aboutdesign and cost early in the design phase - a key advantage for the project’s overall success.

LEED & Sustainability: Brook Architecture has four LEED Accredited Professionals on staff, including firm owner RaMona Westbrook. Whether our clients are interested in gaining LEED Certification, Energy Star Certification, participating in the Chicago Green Homes program, or simply creating a superior sustainable building, BrookArchitecture has the knowledge and experience necessary to meet the project’s unique requirements.
